Please make sure that the artist has not had a Daily Deviation in the past 6 months.
You are more than welcome to suggest yourself for a DD. Don't be shy.
Please try and suggest artwork to me that you would share with 7 million people. I know it sounds obvious... but. Well, think about it.
Daily Deviation FAQ's
1. Are you going to feature it, or not?
I never disclose whether I will or will not feature a piece as a DD after you suggest it. Why? Because I like to make it a surprise if I do in fact want to feature it (:
2. Who do I suggest other deviations that aren't Anthro to?
If you go to you will find which lists of all the Community Volunteers! That will direct you on who to send your suggestions to!
Site Update: Bug Fixes and Feedbackwreckling
In our continuous effort to improve the deviantART experience, we're publishing weekly Site Updates to keep members informed and to gather feedback. Below is a list of recent changes to the site, bug fixes, and feedback that was brought up by members in the last Site Update.
Removal of the Outgoing Page
Please note: This change was a late addition to last week's Site Update. We're including it again to ensure that people are aware.
We've removed the "Now Leaving deviantART.com" page that previously displayed when clicking a link that navigated to an external site. Outgoing links will still be signified with an outgoing symbol, and, to ensure a safe an

Bringing You Closer to the Community
As DeviantArt grows, we strive to find more ways to connect you with the things and people that matter to you most. After months of designing, testing, and engaging in community conversations around the shape of things to come, we're proud to announce a series of features that will bring you closer to the community. These new features include:
Introducing the New Navigationwreckling
Explore the full range of DeviantArt.
With better organization and improved structure, our new navigation creates a more streamlined site experience. Features like Today, Undiscovered, and What’s Hot have been given more prominence, while the More menu is now easily accessible with its simplified, new look. The addition of infinite scroll on Daily Deviations allows you to quickly discover even more hand-selected deviations. This all adds up to more control over what you use most and makes it easier to discover great artists and their art.
The More menu, which was previously available next to the DeviantArt logo, has been better organized and moved to a more prominent and convenient location. This change was based on community feedback that its previous placement was hard to find, and its contents overwhelming.

Introducing Improved Collectionsdanlev
Giving curators the recognition they deserve.
With the launch of the Watch Feed, you can also now watch Collections made by other deviants. Collections are surfaced through the Watch Feed, creating a new way to discover and expose artwork on DeviantArt. Collections have been given additional exposure by appearing on deviation pages as well as tag pages.
“I am loving Collections as well. I am proud of my Collections and am glad they will finally be getting notice. And it also gives more exposure to the artists as this is more viral in nature than simply faving something then making an art feature journal to share it with others.” —GillianIvy
When you watch someone, you’ll automatically be watching all of their Collections — but you can also choose to enable or disable watching Collections on a deviant
Introducing the New Today Pagewreckling
Welcome to Today on DeviantArt.
The Today page is the place to start your day. It's the pulse of the DeviantArt community. When art-related news happens around the world, deviant artists are among the first to respond in the most evocative ways possible. We're proud to unveil the Today page — the new human and dynamically powered newspaper for the community that reflects the stories inside of DeviantArt as they pertain to art, fandom, pop culture, and world culture.
Designed to showcase a variety of content — including editorial pieces, Journals, contests, and even deviants new to the site, the Today page reflects the undercurrent of what's happening now — both online and off.
“The new Today page is impressive. It's certainly much more dynamic and engaging now than it ever was.” —thetaoofchaos

Introducing the Watch Feed and Status UpdatesHeidi
Connecting you with your watchers.
The Watch Feed creates a sequential stream of activity from your watchlist, including deviations, Journals, Collections, Status Updates, Polls, Forum threads and Critiques. Status Updates let people share quick updates about what they’re working on or what inspires them. Find an awesome deviation? Share it in your Status Update.
As we designed our upcoming Mobile app, we understood the need to build something streamlined and direct to deliver what you want to watch. The Watch Feed was built for smartphones and tablets. While we love the robust tools available in the Message Center — and they’re not going away — the Message Center is not an environment that works well on mobile.
