Its amusing, cause there is a Dean Koontz book I love called Sieze the Night. There was also an old RP guild called STN. Those are the first things that pop in my mind seeing this stamp.

CARPE(2nd.person singular-imperative mood of "Carpere") is 'seize'.
NOCTEM (direct object- accusative case of ‘Nox' ) is ‘the night'.
