Swimming Again

A whale fossil being held at the LA Museum of Natural History until it can be stored back at its original display (at a museum I forgot its name). A beautiful specimen. Really takes you back when you're standing there looking at this massive giant.

Beautiful photo!

I've seen this before ( pretty sure it's the right one in it's original display ) close to my home in New York State. It had a video of wale watching next to the display and it touched my heart, in pure spirit but also heartbreaking to see it. Simply powerful and perfect.

Whales are the most beautiful creatures. Their bones are like sculptures too

This is a lovely photo, the lighting gives a very nice effect. And having a skeleton as the subject makes it slightly eerie. Wonderful
