A Question For The Community!

Advice is great

Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well! So I've got somethings I've been working on lately that's kept me busy.  There are a few special projects that have taken my attention but I am nearly finished with some commissions and gift art which I hope to post soon.

The Question

So, pushing forward with my art, I had a question for my fellow artists! Does anyone have any information to share in regards to setting up a Business account for your art? Does any artists have one?  Should you set one up?

I recently received my "Square" card reader ( so I can swipe credit cards for payment ) as I plan to push myself out to my local art festivals, contests, and galleries to try and sell my art.  But I wonder if I should make a separate account just for this? Or should I have it be pay pal only? Or just go directly into my checking?  Also does anyone use the Square Up or Pay Pal Here card readers? Any preferences to using one or the other?

I'm kind of on the fence and I would love to hear opinions or people who've experienced the same thing I am :)

Thank you guys!

I do have one. First of all because i live in Germany and here we are very picky with such things and it's less trouble to separate private and business payment. And paypal is not a very common thing to pay with here - exept for ebay and such shops.

Guess it really depends on how your clients prefer to pay, where you live and how financial things are handled by the tax office in general.
