Music For Muse And Drawing

Music - How It Inspires

Music is something that I rely on for my drawings along with my imagination. To me, music is like the conductor to my imagination. Weaving and allowing the tone to be played throughout the painting. I found this beautiful album tonight and I felt compelled to share it with you. If you have seen me stream my art, you know this is the type of music I listen to!

How does music effect you and your art?

I Won't Be Art'ing For A bit

So, for some reason my PhotoShop ( and Adobe software ) decided to stop working. At first it would give me an error everytime I tried to launch it. Adobe Launcher needed to be reinstalled or was damaged. So I installed it and after I installed it, ran it, Photoshop no longer launched. At all. I had spent all day yesterday trying to just uninstall the suite so I could reinstall it. To no avail. So right now, as it is, I have no Photoshop to paint or at least finish some of the pieces I have been working on ( as they're in the .psd ) format. I'm not sure when I can get it back up.

Today, I was able to finally uninstall it all together but unfortunately, it still won't work when I try to "reinstall". I don't know what's going on with it all of a sudden. I've done virus scans, uninstalled / reinstalled. Nothing. I really hope I don't need to do an entire reinstall of my OS.

So I am doing my best not to rage quit at the moment (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻! I of course find this amazing music I really want to paint to, but right now can't. Just hope I can restore everything *le-sigh*.

So how are you all doing? Well, I hope!

I wish I could give some suggestions but the comments seem to cover things pretty well...

If it still isn't working, or just in the case something like this happens again, do you have any other art programs on your computer? I used to exclusively use Photoshop for digital art, but I've been varying it up in the last couple years, particularly since I've been using Linux more and needed alternatives. There are a surprising number of very functional art programs that are *much* smaller than Photoshop, so you could install it alongside without taking up much extra space. Some even have PSD export/import support.
