How have I been and how am I doing? Well, prepare for a rather long winded autobiography! (You now have time to go make a hot chocolate and get comfortable...) Nah, just kidding ! But man, allot has been going on in my life.

I guess I could actually start back in December. I took a break from university since I was on the 4th year of a 5 year major and honestly I had lost all my motivation for it. The university lets you take at least 1 year off but I just took the semester off and got my first real job for myself and by myself. It was a real personal life changer for me to do that since honestly allot of things have been done along with my parents help. But anyway, I got a job as a Snowboard Instructor at a local ski resort 8D! And I have to say that it was COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY AWESOME! I wont bother with all the little stories but suffice to say I had a great time working there ^^. During that time I had continued to look around for the possibility of getting a wolf dog as well. All of my friends locally are moving away and being up in the mountains by myself has been lonely enough. After some searching and phone calls I had found something that could possibly work. There was a 7 year old Siberian husky/German Shepherd/wolf dog mix that was in an animal shelter in Texas. Since I was already going down to Texas from Colorado to be with my parents and take a summer school course I made plans to stop by the shelter and meet with the dog. I also got to see my grandmother again along with a few cousins on my drive as well. Once I was with my parents I talked with them some more about the dog and that we might go and visit with her again (in order to get there approval in some way ). Sadly though, a few days after arriving in Texas we received news that my grandmother had passed away after an accident. This was a hard blow considering I had just seen her and it was the 7th death in our family in the last 4 years... Also, when we went up to for the funeral my dad got sick one night at a restaurant, passed out, and hit his head. We had to call an ambulance and everything. Things were very stressful at the time.
We did however get to meet with the dog again (her name is Shadow Girl) and I decided that I would adopt her. I'll be picking her up on my drive back to Colorado in the beginning of August and I'm super excited about that ! I also have to admit that I'm extremely nervous as well since I hope everything works out well . She is definitely a dominant alpha but we seemed to get along better than some people thought. After getting back to our home in Texas I finished up my summer school only to immediately come down with an ear infection. Since then I've mostly been taking it easy, trying to get better, and hanging out with friends. I've also managed to do allot of sketching and I at least feel like I'm getting a bit more consistent with my drawings . So yeah, there is a brief overview of how things have been for me the last few months.
