I think you should use wolves, yes (because frankly (who the hell made up the word 'frankly'? it sounds retarded) you're incredible at them), but I think you should also incorporate the human/anthro forms of whatever character you plan on using C: I am assuming, of course, that such a wolf on the template would be one of your characters. I can clearly imagine a Tigin-themed journal with his wolf form's flames making the header and at the bottom on the opposite corner is his human form giving the peace finger sign.
