Welcome To Anthro Project Educate!
The DeviantART community is filled with passionate art enthusiasts from around the world. With it comes one of the many art forms represented by those very enthusiasts. The Anthro Community is one of them. The goal of Project Educate is to help expose and educate you about a specific gallery or resources you might not have been aware of. To expand your horizon and inspiration and to bring to you something useful or thought provoking. This week, January 23rd - 27th, at #communityrelations we are using the foundation of Project Educate to bring to you various resources to enhance, learn, modify, grow, experience and mold your own skills and understanding of Anthro artwork. What it portrays, popular misconceptions and more! This week I will be posting various articles in relation to Anthropomorphic art. Above you can see the tentative schedule of the things I will be featuring and posting.

Chat Event in #IAmAnthro - January 27th
Tomorrow, Jan 27th @ 8pm EST, 6pm PST in the chatroom #IAmAnthro @ There will be a chat event that I will be hosting. I have contacted several anthro artists throughout the community to come in and give a Q&A session. There will also be an "open mic" session where you are welcome to post your questions, comments, concerns, awesome art etc. in respect to Anthro Art! This is your time to shine and be a part of such an amazing community of people!
What IS Anthro Art Work?
"Anthro" is short for Anthropomorphic. What IS Anthropomoprhic?

1. ascribing human form or attributes to a being or thing not human, especially to a deity.
2.resembling or made to resemble a human form: an anthropomorphic carving.
So by definition, its simply as it states. Giving human characteristics to an otherwise none human object, animal or thing. For example Disney's - The Brave Little Toaster, Van Helsings WereWolf, The Creature From The Black Lagoon! or Anubis, an Egyptian God. All of these are things, objects or creatures that exhibit human traits or characteristics.
